Stablecoin payments like USDT in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay

When a customer asks to pay in stablecoin, the question is not crypto: it is how that payment lands in the till, in the ERP and in the books. We design and integrate that software infrastructure — USDT, USDC and DePix, with automatic reconciliation and always with a conventional rail alongside. CDE DIGITAL does not custody funds: settlement goes through licensed local partners.

The payment lands and nobody knows which order it belongs to

A Brazilian customer asks to pay in stablecoin, the cashier says yes and writes the amount on a slip of paper. By closing time there is a balance in a wallet, a spreadsheet that will not add up and an accountant with no document. The currency was never the problem: the problem is that the payment never reaches a system with a date, an amount and an order number attached to it. That is where our work starts, and where it ends.

What we deliver

  • Diagnosis of your current payment flow and design of the payment architecture.
  • Implementation and configuration of the self-hosted payment server on your infrastructure.
  • Integration with your ERP: every payment reconciled automatically.
  • Training for the cashier team and your accountant.
  • Monitoring and support under a service level agreement.

How we work

  1. 1We start with a diagnosis of the payment flow and the ERP — the design is written down before anything is installed.
  2. 2We implement on your infrastructure, with the conventional rail running alongside from day one.
  3. 3We close with training, monitoring and an SLA — and with your accountant in the conversation from the start.

The architecture we implement

  • Self-hosted BTCPay Server with the official DePix plugin — requires BTCPay 2.1.6 or later, a DePix API key and a Liquid wallet.
  • Integration with Eulen's Pix2DePix API handling the delayed, under_review and approved states correctly — only approved confirms a payment — plus the expiry of the single-use QR code.
  • A unique address per invoice via xpub (HD wallet), for automatic reconciliation with the ERP.
  • Confirmation monitoring and end-to-end accounting reconciliation.
  • Fiat rail and settlement through a licensed local partner: we design and integrate the software; funds never pass through CDE DIGITAL.

What we spell out

  • DePix is a virtual asset referenced to the Brazilian real, issued by Eulen.app LLC on the Liquid Network, with a 1:1 peg declared by the issuer.
  • PIX is only the on-ramp: DePix is not issued or backed by the Central Bank of Brazil.
  • Fees published by the issuer: deposit, 2% plus R$ 0.99; withdrawal up to R$ 100, 1% plus R$ 1.00; withdrawal above R$ 100, 2%.
  • We could not locate a public independent audit of DePix reserves; issuer risk is borne in full.
  • Cryptoassets are not legal tender in Paraguay and stablecoins carry issuer risk.

There is always a conventional path

Every implementation includes conventional payment alongside — bank transfer, card or local QR. A business that only accepts crypto is a red flag, and that design will never be ours.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before hiring this

Do you hold the money from the payment?

At no point. We install the software on your infrastructure and settlement goes through a licensed local partner. CDE DIGITAL does not custody funds and is not a currency exchange or a financial institution: what we deliver is technology.

What fees are involved in taking stablecoin payments?

Network and issuer fees are separate from our work and are not set by us: the DePix ones are further up this page, under “What we spell out”. Our work is priced separately, per project, with scope, dates and price in writing before anything starts.

What if my customer does not want to pay that way?

Your customer keeps paying the way they always have. The implementation leaves the conventional rail running alongside — bank transfer, card or local QR — from day one, and stablecoin stays as one more option at the till, never the only one.

How do I report this to my accountant?

Your accountant decides that, not us. What we do is make every payment leave the system with a date, an amount and an order number, so they have something to work with: the day's close comes from a record, not from a spreadsheet rebuilt by hand.

Does this fit a small shop, or do I need to be a large importer?

It fits if customers are already asking to pay this way and you are handling it by hand today. If it is one customer now and then, the integration does not pay for itself — we say so in the first conversation, before you spend on a project you do not need.

Let us start with how you get paid today

Before talking architecture, we look at your current payment flow. The diagnosis is the first deliverable — and sometimes the conclusion is to change nothing.
